Technology Services Mission Statement

The Technology Department of the Access Council of Government in Ohio is committed to delivering innovative, secure, and high-quality technology services that support K–12 education. We empower schools with reliable infrastructure, responsive support, and forward-thinking solutions that enhance learning and operations. Guided by a standard of excellence, we strive to ensure every student, educator, and administrator has the tools needed to succeed in a connected world.  
 

Wide Area Network

ACCESS owns and operates a state-of-the-art fiber network infrastructure that will support our member districts' data, voice and video needs well into the future.  Our Wide Area Network infrastructure consists of high-speed, redundant fiber optic loops across Mahoning and Columbiana counties, providing high-capacity, multi-gigabit connections to member district facilities.

ACCESS also provides Internet services to the Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County as well as several non-public school systems, all connected directly to the ACCESS fiber network.

Local Area Network

Email, spam filtering, web services, and administrative application support fall into the LAN area of network services.
