ACCESS owns and operates a state-of-the-art fiber network infrastructure that will support our member districts' data, voice and video needs well into the future. Our Wide Area Network infrastructure consists of redundant 40 Gigabit Ethernet network segments in the form of four fiber optic loops traversing two counties. ACCESS provides a 1 or 10 Gigabit Ethernet connection to each member district head-end and a 1 Gigabit connection to all district remaining buildings in both Mahoning and Columbiana County.
ACCESS also provides Internet services to the Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County as well as several non-public school systems. Each of these entities is connected to the ACCESS fiber loops.
